ADMISSION NOTICE

Applications are invited for admission to the First Year of 5 year integrated LL.B. course for the session 2008 - 2009 in the Jalpaiguri Law College. Forms will be available from the office of the College on payment of Rs 100/- in cash during the working hours from 02.06.2008 (11.30 A.M. to 3 P.M.). Application forms may also downloaded from the website of the college (http://jalpaigurilawcollege.org). Filled in application forms must reach the college office on or before 17.06.2008. A crossed bank draft of Rs 100/- in favour of Jalpaiguri Law College payable at C.B.I., Jalpaiguri Branch shall accompany a downloaded application form.

Eligibility criteria:
1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination from a recognised board.
2. Obtained 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examinations.
3. Persons belonging to SC & ST are eligible to apply if they have secured at least 40% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examinations.
4. The merit status of candidates admitted to LL.B. 1st year shall be made on the basis of five subjects inclusive of English wherein Environmental Studies shall not be included in the best of five subjects.
5. The candidate shall not be above 20 years of age on 1st july, 2008.
6. One year age relaxation is available for SC/ST candidates.
